It thus aims to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>reinforce the relationship of confidence in the governance of organizations;<\/li><li>promote the integration of ethical values into financial decisions;<\/li><li>develop a knowledge hub on banking, microfinance and corporate social responsibility;<\/li><li>promote international relations between researchers in economics and finance;<\/li><li>train a new generation of managers marked by the current concerns of society such as ethics, good governance, social responsibility and sustainable development.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>GIREF originated from the Groupe international de recherche en \u00e9thique financi\u00e8re et fiduciaire that was founded by Professor Andr\u00e9e De Serres of School of Management, University of Quebec in Montreal and Professor Michel Roux, former Dean of the Economics and Business Management Faculty, of Paris 13 University.
