The GIREF pays tribute, with these words, to three of its honorable members now deceased, who have greatly contributed to its growth in the past.

Bernard Landry, former Premier of Quebec, acted as a member of the GIREF Orientation Council until 2017.

Claude Béland, former president of the Mouvement Desjardins du Québec (1987-2000) acted as president of the GIREF Orientation Council until 2019.

Michel Roux, former Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Management, University of Paris 13 acted as co-director of GIREF until 2018.

They were able to give impetus to GIREF. May their souls rest in peace with the Lord.
